Do you have panic attacks? What actually is a panic 'attack'?
A panic attack is a period of intense fear. It starts suddenly and quickly becomes severe, peaking after about 10 minutes. It is very upsetting and lasts for a few minutes or longer. You may be very concerned about having further attacks and fear being humiliated in front of others.
If you have recurrent panic attacks, this may become a panic disorder.
